Approved projects from the call "Innovations in the field - flagship projects for civil security"

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research supports technology and knowledge transfer with the call "Innovations in the field - flagship projects for civil security". The aim is to follow up on particularly innovative research findings with great practical relevance from the "Research for Civil Security" framework program and to translate them into solutions suitable for use in the field in a timely manner. Police and fire departments, municipalities, operators of critical infrastructures, companies in the private security industry and other key stakeholders entrusted with establishing and guaranteeing civil security can benefit directly from the state of the art in science and technology through this measure. Particularly suitable projects from the field of civil security research are given the opportunity to further develop their results within the framework of so-called flagship projects. In close cooperation with security practitioners, these projects can demonstrate the performance of their research approaches under operational conditions and with scientific support.
